The Maine Bar Foundation in Hallowell Maine seeks an executive director committed to and knowledgeable about low-income legal aid and who possesses proven non-profit organizational development and fundraising background. The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for policy and program implementation and daily operations of The Foundation. The ED provides leadership in the strategic planning and management of the Foundation?s grants programs and civil legal aid collaborations throughout the state.The Foundation was founded in 1983, and is Maine?s only state-wide charitable organization devoted to support for low-income legal aid and law related education projects. It manages Maine?s IOLTA programs and provides administrative assistance for the annual Campaign for Justice and Frank M. Coffin Fellowship.Bachelors required, law degree or comparable IOLTA program background wanted.
